Every cow or buffalo should be given antihelminthetics at every six months interval or at least once in a year
Bathing once in a month with 0.5% malathion mixed water prevents ecto-parasites
The prevalence of FMD, Anthrax, Black Quarter and Hemorrhagic Septicemia is high in Bangladesh
Every buffalo should be vaccinated at right time to prevent disease

In addition, seek faster treatment from nearest livestock officer or veterinarian when any of animals become infected.
